I’ve always had an interest in broadband.
In what for me, at a very personal level, was the clearest sign yet of the ascendancy of India, I discovered that some old friends, in city in one of the most undeveloped areas of India, are about to get broadband. They almost taunted me with this fact, suggesting we do webcam action via Skype.
The only flaw in the plan being that I live in a village Ireland, the Celtic Tiger, and I can’t imagine broadband coming anytime soon. Ho hum.
